糖度は、12度以上とスイカとしてはとても甘く、さらにはシャリッとした食感が人気です。
小玉スイカが持つ高い糖度と、大玉スイカのようなスイカならではのシャキシャキの食感で、小玉スイカ、大玉スイカの良いトコどりをしたようなスイカです。

◆栽培・生産のこだわり
良質な完熟堆肥とミネラルを中心とした土作りにこだわりました。
スイカ栽培50年以上。
施設を使って栽培することで温度、湿度、水分量を調節することでスイカの甘さ、美味しさを最大限引き出しています。
長年の感だけに頼らず、データを元に栽培することで味のバラツキを少なくし、収穫の20日前ごろから水はやらずに、実が水っぽくなるのを防ぎ、味が落ちるのを防ぎます。

日本一のスイカの産地植木町。昼夜の寒暖差が大きく、水はけのよい火山灰土壌でスイカ栽培に適しています。
